In 2026 Hospice West Auckland celebrates 40 years of supporting our community with care and compassion. From the very beginning, volunteers have been at the heart of everything we do – in fact, it was volunteers who helped start our organisation.

Over four decades, thousands of people have generously given their time, skills, and kindness, supporting patients, families, and our community in countless ways. We simply wouldn’t be here without them.
